Spy Photos: Porsche 998 911

These are the first crystal-clear shots of the next-generation Porsche 911 – internally called the 998 – that will replace the current model in 2011.
Few days ago we reported that this here (same car, but from a farther distance in heavy rain) was the new 911 Turbo, but on these pictures you can see that the side air-intakes in front of the rear wheels are fakes – and so is the huge rear wing which hides the shape of the smaller spoiler of the standard 911s.
Compared to the current model, the front lights are standing more upright and the side mirrors have moved from the side window corner to the side of the door. Don’t get confused by the rear lights as these are just temporary. The next-generation 911 will feature the same flat-six engine that surely gets a power boost and the new PDK dual-clutch gearbox.

Looks kinda wider and flatter. I like the fake turbo vents! Where can I pick those up? I could sell a ton of them. People are so into the fake fender vents, wait till they see fake turbo 1/4 panel vents! We will see them on Buicks and Caddis!

It looks to me that some one went over a speedbump to fast, smashed in the front bumper, got stuck so he backed up and pulled the frunt lip foward and then thought it would be cool to but stickers that looked like turbo intakes on his car BUT I COULD BE WRONG!?!?!?!?
