I'd like to do that course one day. How was the food?

 

Food was overall quite good.

Morning: at the PSDS they have very good coffee (my usual breakfast) and then lots of continental b-fast things like fruit and danishes etc etc. There is also a coffee bar at the Ross Resort that makes a good latte (which I got each day for the 30 min ride to PSDS).

Lunch is at the Barber Museum in a nice room with a view of the "corkscrew." The food was pretty good and the desserts were painfully good. There are 2-3 instructors for every table of 10 people. Every day at lunch time, the museum takes out one bike or car for some track time (everything in the museum runs!). One day there was an old Lotus race car bombing around that was tres cool.

Dinner was at Ross Bridge starting with happy hour on Porsche in the bar. The food was pretty good for dindin as well. All of the instructors come and it's a good time to get to know them on a more personal level. This is where Hurley Haywood and I talked cats: he has 3 Somalis and I of course love cats too!

Definitely make the time to go to PSDS. It is certainly very expensive compared to a typical DE but well worth it. I learned so much about driving and I definitely plan on going back!
