Thanks everyone!

I actually prefer the Volks on there, looks-wise too. But the 18s offer definite better feel when pushing hard, whether street or track.

MiniD, come on over the hill then! We'll go run some mountain roads!

Wow. What a memory you have.I forgot all about that. Yeah, I never went back to this forum, not one time. Not because they disagreed with me, but they were nearing the verge of ridicule.

I like how it turned out.

Yup. Here's my car with:

Supercharger & Lightweight flywheel (effect what you're hearing some).

Fabspeed headers. Synergy Racing RACE exhaust. Here's a pic of it too. This is no longer on the car (and it's for sale). It's really light, and doesn't waste weight going back into the wheel wells like the current exhaust I have, or the Fabspeed that I had (that one's for sale too). So, Synergy Racing RACE exhaust. Very high flow. No unnecessary bends. No cats. Very fast.

YouTube - Porsche 997 exhaust note. Synergy Racing exhaust. No cats. VIR. Fabspeed headers. Center exit 3.8L.

For comparison, look at my current (and final) GMG exhaust. It's great for the street, and is bearable on noise level. BUT, it's gotta weigh more.

I'll look for a vid and pic of the Fabspeed exhaust.

Well, the Fabspeed headers are welded to the Synergy Racing center exit exhaust, never to come off again. I do have the header-back setup though, even all the brackets. PM me if you're still interested.

I'll make it cheap. My wife, son, and I will be moving soon and don't need to haul around all the parts. Heck, you might come up, walk around my garage, and leave with brake calipers and rotors, a bumper or two, a Cargraphic GT2 wing... I've got a ton of stuff, man. All needs a home. My car's not changing anymore. It's finally 'right'. If you have a thicker steering wheel, I'm up for a trade. That's the only mod I have left to do.
