Car looks great. I think White is my new favorite Porsche color. The side skirts and the GT3 bumper are a great touch.

Hey ATL have you ever thought of painting the front air dam white? I think it would give it a lower more aggressive lip and help tie in with the sideskirts. Can someone photoshop this so we could see how it looks?

 

Stefan, I have been thinking about it. I'm a little torn, and it's 50/50 with everyone I ask, some like it black, some like it white.

Black hides scrapes well (*knock on wood* I haven't scraped it even once yet) but white would look better I think. I might start a poll on it.

 

That's exactly what I was going to recommend reading this thread (paint front air dam). Just throw some clear protective film on it and you're done.

I had the GT3 front on my Carrera S and I've scraped it plenty. The good thing about the scrapes is that they are under the bumper and you can't see them. Also, my Carrera S was Basalt Black with the lip painted and I loved the look.

I have the lip painted on my turbo as well. I've scraped it a couple times as well and it's not noticeable, plus it's cheap to replace...

I attached a picture of my Carrera S lip at the worst possible appearance right before I had it replaced. Check it out:
