The 997 Targa is the first Targa variant 911 that I really really like. I'm surprised it hasn't caught on more, you never hear about anyone buying one. You just see one on the road occasionally.

I think the Targa is cool from the inside, but doesn't look as good from the outside. No smooth lines. Is it worth more, really? I wouldn't.

Here in Canada there is a price difference of about 10k between the C4S (116k) and the Targa4S (126)

that probably explains why most people go for the C4S. Once options are added is starts to make a difference.

i happen to think the Targa4S exterior styling looks better than the C4S!

Well.. of course your cars aren't comparable as wheels are different and one is a 7.1 the other a 7.2...
The only aesthetic difference is Targa has a chrome strip above the side windows, and that back corner is a point instead of smooth curves. Does not flow IMO. Though I do like the ultra huge sunroof, I would just get a Cab if I wanted more sun.
