New to forum
Hey guys. I am new to the Porsche world, in that I purchased my first Porsche 1.5 yrs ago. Sad to say, it is already gone, but being replaced very soon by the 09.
I started with 6speed when I first got that car and became an addict, perusing the forums almost daily. Then I started viewing Renlist and now Teamspeed. I like the format of this board and the topics seem to be more focused. Do you guys read all these forums as well as I do see some of the same usernames on each forum.
Looking forward to years of continued reading and posting.

Thanks everyone. I hate to sound biased, but this forum seems more geared to enthusiasts, similar to RENNTEAM. I think I have outgrown 6 speed, but that is not in a disparaging way at all.
I had to sell my 2007 997S due to family issues, but I was fortunate to order an 2009 S. (fortunate as in I am able to afford it, or at least try....) I am beyond excited and probably have read every literature on the 09 Carreras. I ordered a manual, but after reading so many good things about the PDK, I am wondering if I will be remiss in not ordering the PDK. It just sounds so good for about 90% of the circumstances. Maybe it's a good thing that my wife can't drive a stick. Maybe subconsciously that's why I ordered a manual.
DJ, I can't wait to see your pics. Also, anyone who has had the opportunity to drive one, please post your thoughts.
Thanks.

Welcome to Teamspeed. I used to post often on 6speed, however now I rarely post on there, even though it's improved a lot lately. I find myself posting on Team everyday, I really enjoy the quality of the threads and the members here. There seem to be more like minded individuals here, that I would enjoy chatting to here or over lunch. SO welcome, I am looking forward to your posts, and pics.
