Need help with 997 gauge needle removal
Fellow TeamSpeeders- Nice to be on the forum.
I have a really nice set of light silver gauge faces (OEM) that I'd like to install. Came of of an 08 997S.
Problem is, I cannot find verifiable information on how to remove the gauge needles safely so I can swap the face disks. I have checked everywhere online I can think of for information including Loren at Renntech. No joy.
Cluster removal and opening the housing is no prob. Incorrect removal of the needles would be an expensive mistake.
Has anyone changed the faces on their 997 gauges, and if so, can you please share the needle removal and reinstall process?
TIA!

Anyone? I hear crickets on this thread.. lol
Has no one ever swapped face plates on 997 gauges?
It's killing me to see these beautiful silver painted gauge faces just sitting on my table..

Thanks- I have heard that you must turn the needle counter clockwise and pull off at same time. Reinstalling you put it in 12 oclock position and turn clockwise to gauge starting point, then push.
Scary to do without coming from a verified source.
