Leased a 335 Convertible in the end - more practical and much easier for daily driving. The auto has been great as my knee's hasn't been hurting, the commute to my girls house used to literally be a pain. Now i just sit there and try to relax without having to concentrate as much.
We'll see if i can last more than a year with it...

Nice - Still a very fun car. And you even went topless
Pick up a Vishnu piggyback ECU controller, intake and exhaust- Maybe suspension.
Follow-Up Test: Vishnu Tuning BMW 335i Coupe
Almost 400lbs of TQ at the wheels should hold you over for a bit! -I see an '09S with PDK in your future...

I had considered dropping a chip and ecu crap in it but the backlash from all dealers has been awful - they are banning warranties, spending more time when a car is in for service to search for chips / ecu flashes and to be honest, most of these tuning companies haven't perfected the ecu software with many cars going into 'limp mode' requiring a dealer visit.
I'm not going to mod the car aside from a tint (if i even bother), blacked out side-markers and grill as it's not worth it to me.

The Vishnu seems to be very popular on BMW since it is "plug n play", an external box that plugs inline to the ECU. If you go to dealer, just unplug it. No mods to your factory programming required, and you get 75hp / 100+ TQ. Nice! I'd be all over that- too bad they do not make anything for pcars...
