2009 911 sport exhaust

2009 911 sport exhaust
I assume it works the same way as before, meaning that it is loud under 2500 rpm, and then quiet until 4500rpm, then loud again? I wish it would just stay loud all the way as long as the button is left "ON". I would love to order the PSE if it just stays loud or quiet throughout the rpm range depending on the button position.

Any insights or suggestions?

You can install it afterward and not hook up the switch I beleive

There is a mod you can do to the sport exhaust to keep the valve open all the time. IIRC, it's a fuse you can pull. Same thing on my RS4... I don't remember the steps (I didn't have PSE on my 997S), but if you search it's around.

In this case why spend on PSE? buy an after-market exhaust which is louder, gives u more hp, and is switched ON the whole time

Exactly. The hard part is picking which exhaust!
