Kenny Glad you like the video I met Jim Hall of Road&Track in Porsche Leipzig Factory when he filmed it and in it you can see me standing next to my car. Those cars you see in the film are the last CGT's on the line and that day we had many Journalist invited by Porsche to report on the last CGT's being built.

I guess I was very lucky with the Journalists being there at the same day and not to Forget Walter Rohl

 

Man, just the thought of Sir Walter power sliding a 959 with me as co-pilot is enough!!!

 

He told me a story about when Porsche was testing the 959 and the project manager was not happy with the test drivers they were not pushing the car hard enough and that they couldn't get to the parameters he wanted them to reach so he called Walter Rohl to help him out and you can just imagine what happened next
I can tell you he was flying driving around the Leipzig race track and very smooth driving the 959 and the CGT .

 

Jaber, We consider Mr. Rohrl, almost in Mistical terms because of his driving skills. He commands the greatest respect because not what he says but what he does and Good Lord, that man does it with passion!!
