My thoughts after owning my turbo for only 3 months (daily, year round driver):

1) Absolutely love the Adaptive Sport seats. I have two settings programmed in--1 for daily comfort, and 2 for hold-my-ass-in-cause-we-going-to-get-crazy. I love the side bolsters for the hip area and the lower back. I tested both at Chris' dealership in Cleveland. At that time, I didn't notice much difference just in the showroom, but after driving with them for a few months, I see a world of difference in terms of support (lateral and comfort) compared to the standard seats.

2) Ditch the all red taillights with the orange. JMO.

3) Reconsider all of the orange bits inside. The orange bits could look very nice if they are select and few. In particular, I would not do the seat belt outlets. With that said, I agree with salihbjk in that the interior could REALLY benefit from more carbon. For example, orange door openers with carbon surround (finisher) and carbon center console.

4) Multi-Function Wheel - I too went back and forth. In the end, my car does not have it. There are times that I wish I had radio control on the wheel, but the stereo really isn't that far away. It does have Nav control also. Just thinking out loud, I could go either way on this one.

5) Rear Wiper - I also live in a snow belt. The wiper could have some use in this regard (a few times a year), however to me it just ruins the asthetic look of the car from the rear. This is admittedly subject to personal taste. I went without.

Good luck and happy hunting.
Thanks Jeff.
I'm not a big carbon guy.
As for the rear wiper, I go back and forth on it. There have been a number of days here in Boston that I really wish I had it,....so I'll probably keep it (plus it's about the only free option that Porsche offers!).
I think you're right about the red lights going bye bye. BAM just made 500 bucks.

Really not a fan of exterior paint on the inside, just looks too pimp my ride especially when you're dealing w/ bright colors like yellow or orange. When was the last time you saw factory orange paint on the inside of any very high end sports car? Make the interior as upper end as possible, lots of leather & or CF.
Yea yeah, I know,....but I've just never been sold on PCCB and I can't fathom paying 9000 bucks for something that I don't believe in.
I may end up going with just the orange paint tidbits OR the devtd stitching instead of both...I'm back and forth on this one. I think the majority of opinions seems to favor no interior paint tidbits.

I love it.. If it was my car I would do the sport seats with leather backs, I would not do the orange interior stuff other then stitching. I would do the PCM in alum to go along with the shifter, park brake handle, and other stuff that is alum. I would black wheels with a orange pinstripe. Also with all this leather$$ might as well get the leather headliner... I would love to see what kind of MSRP this car is....

Here is a pic I found of a orange stitching a long time ago..

I would reconsider the adaptive sport seats, they are very supportive at the track. Besides they would be a $$ pain in the ass to add later.

Wow, that's quite an options list you got there! Here's what I would change: Other than the Leather seats, I wouldn't order all those extra Leather bits (Dome light surround for example). It's nice to be around all that leather, but the only person who will notice is you! No to the red tailights (it'll be a major color clash with the orange paint). The deviating stitching will look great, but I wouldn't do the orange interior parts. I think it's a little too much. I prefer clean, simple and classy. Carbon is nice, but I don't think it's worth the added cost. It's not something you'll miss if it's not there. I'd keep the multi-function wheel, the less you have to take your hands off the wheel the better IMO. I also like the rear wiper (I'd keep that). With the savings from not ordering the extra interior stuff, you can get the adaptive seats or PCCB's. Both a much better value than painter interior parts and extra leather. But if you can afford it all, than go for it! Congrats on the upcoming ride!

I thought that option DAW needed to be selected to get the deviated stitching covered on the center (i.e. "rear") console. I'll double check.
You MUST order DAW in order to get deviated stitching on the shifter and brake. This will also get you CDZ (gear lever trim) in leather with deviating stitching. 09991 will get the stitching on the console.

Have you lost your mind - YES but welcome to the club. My 08 Coupe had a MSRP of 167,645.00.

Sounds great.
However, with all the additional options you are adding, and the significant increase in price, you should really consider PCCB's. If you have not already, try test driving a car with PCCB's. I think that this car will definitely be unique!!
No matter, it is a 977TT. It always looks great!! no matter the color. Even Pink!!
