991 Turbo Cabriolet - Hard Top Availability?
Hey gang,
So, always saw myself as a 911 Turbo coupe man, but had a chance to drive the 2014 Turbo S cabrio last week and, well, WOW. I might be a convert.
I'm curious to know, though, whether it's possible to buy a detachable hard top to place on the Turbo. I live in the Northeast, and I'd like to be able to drive it year-round. Less concerned about temperature insulation (I know the new soft tops are real good at that), and more concerned with the weight of a lot of wet, wet snow on top of the roof. I'd feel better if I could slap a hard top on there. That said, I can't find one on the Porsche website.
Do they still make a hard top for the cabrio? Does anyone else? And does anybody have experience driving ragtop 911s in winter?

991 is a hard top with the window bonded in. Carbon blend with a magnesium frame. Exterior fabric is for looks. I'm in Wisconsin, no worries. Do research, it's not an issue.
