2014 Porsche 911 Turbo Drops All Camo
Spotted almost completely undisguised!
The new 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo will make it's official debut this September in Frankfurt, but spies have caught the all-new bomber fully undisguised as seen in the pictures after the jump. Power is still not yet official, but expect the new Turbo to make at least 530hp.
As Teamspeed has previously reported, Worldcarfans notes, or rather translates for us from the German magazine AutoBild, the new turbo will be affixed with a four-wheel steering system that will make the all-new model more nimble than its predecessor, the 997 turbo. Little is known about the system, but it will likely work with the car's all-wheel drive system.
As mentioned the new turbo's engine details still remain elusive, and rumors have suggested the new turbo could feature a triple-turbocharged flat-six with approximately 550 PS (405 kW / 542 hp), but its more likely we'll see something to the tune of a 530bhp 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat six engine. The Turbo S should pump out at least 550hp. Either power-plant will be connected to a seven-speed manual or an optional PDK transmission, which should ensure this is one of the world's fastest, living up to the 911 Turbo legacy.
