Wow, congrats doc! More pics of the exterior / interior of your new purchase please.

The garage looks amazing too. Can't wait to see the finished product! Will you be sharing?

Thanks all

Some answers

The floor is 100% solids epoxy with little chips mixed in. In the wash bay, they added silicon "sand" for added traction.

The wash bay has waterproof sheetrock, like a shower, with a paint designed for wet environments. The water faucet is a standard hot/cold faucet with threads for a hose. In fact the walls can not withstand pressure washing, so it is just a regular washing. (I never use a pressure washer, so I didn't want to spend the $$ on making it that much more robust) Under the car is a 6 foot long drain, and the whole bay is graded to assist with drainage. That's why there's no sink near the faucet.

I looked into cabinets, and they are pretty pricey. For now I will use the shelves I have collected over the years. The garage is supposed to be more functional than man cave. Any dollars spent on cabinets is less $$ for cars and motorcycle acquisitions.

The other garage is literally filled with debris from the move, and some ongoing construction. So no pics of it yet. It is a large 4 car with the same floor as the basement garage.

I'll try and post some more pics of the car in detail.

Thanks for the interest, and sorry it took so long to get pics up.

Funny story about the paint on the beams.

Builder came to me and said we should paint them. They'll look cool, and it will keep them from rusting. "What color?"

So I talked with wife and said how about black or red for contrast. They all talked, and decided red was good. So my wife asks me what color red. I'm a guy. Red is the color. She then produces a color wheel with like 400 reds!!!!! So being lazy, I said red like my 928.

So my wife takes my brochure for my 928, and has Lowes match the color chip in the back for the beam paint to guards red.

The funny part is I'm chilling in the surgeons' lounge between cases one day. These two medical students who don't see me in the corner are gossiping. I hear one tell the other, there's a surgeon here he so rich, he's building a massive garage, and had paint from Porsche in Germany air shipped to paint his garage!!!!

I take it this garage enters from a seprate entrance and is what would be the basement? Or do you enter this thru the four car garage and then go down? Just curious sounds like a great set-up?
