Mods by BBI Autosport Coming Along Nicely - PICS!

As you may already know from my prior posts both here and on 6Speed, I am getting several mods on my 997TT at BBI Autosport in Huntington Beach, CA. For those who might not have seen this post on 6Speed I am posting here as well. I am having the following work done:

1. Custom Exhaust
2. Dynamic ECU
3. Underdrive Pulley
4. IPD Plenum
5. HRE P43s 20"

BBI has been awesome. They are absolutely meticulous craftsmen and leave no stone unturned looking for more performance. Simply put, these guys really know what they are doing. I have been very impressed. I pick up the car today and head to the Dyno. Here are some pics of the build. I will post pics of the finished work along with some video clips after I pick it up.

BBI Pulley Wheel vs. Stock - Big Size and Weight Difference!

IPD Plenum Installed on Y Pipe with Silicon Reducer

Exhaust - Look At That Craftsmanship!

Oops - Didn't Mean For This Pic To Get On This Thread! But It Is So Cool I Will Keep It Here! GO LEWIS IN CANADA!!!

Congratulations mate, how is the power difference now that you've unleashed some power and decreased back pressure.

The new wheels look hot, too bad the techarts are anchors when compared to the ones you've got now.

...very interesting exhaust.
What about dyno test?
Regarding the pulley it is very dangerous to change this part in porsche, crank and the rest of things are balanced together with the pulley.
I know what I'm talking about in my ex GT2 I had this problem several times.
With the lighter wheel there was same micro vibrations problem and I lost pulley, that means you have no cooling because water pump is not working anymore.

BTW
Kubica is faster!
When they was racing go-karts Kubica always was before Haminlton

I had heard this and specifically asked them about the pulley system's safety and reliability. They assured me that they had done it on dozens of Porsches and never had a problem. Any mod is risky. We'll just have to wait and see.

Kubicza is a good driver. He may be a bit freaked out this weekend in Montreal because of the crash last year. If he maintains focus, he could get a podium. Remember, his teammate Nick Hiedfeld took 2nd last year in Canada. Maybe a repeat peformance this year.

Got the car back and WOW! You can really feel the difference! The car just growls now and has so much more get up and go. I am very happy with the results.

I am putting together a bunch of pics and videos of this project. I am having Moe from GP come by and detail it. It is REALLY dirty. Then I will post all kinds of data, pics and videos.

Thanks for the kind comments and the interest guys.

Stay tuned!
