UPDATE:: This weekend will definitely go down as one of my most memorable to date. Running 200+mph in the Texas Mile has been a goal of mine for a few years ever since my first 996TT (tip). I was unsure that the car would even be ready to run after blowing a coolant fitting on the road course at MSR Houston just a week before the Mile. BUT, Steve Ott and his crew at DriverSource came through and put the car back together the day before I had to leave for Beeville, TX. I can't give enough props to the best shop in Houston hands down. Also, big thanks to EVOMS and BBI for shipping out parts at the last minute. And finally, Protomotive builds a great car!

SPEED Channel's "Mobil 1 The Grid" filmed the run and interviewed me and I'm sure my answers make me look like a total tool, but it was fun.

Very nice run, are you using motec?
and which exhaust system you have?

 

NO MoTec. The exhaust on the car now (in video) is straight catless pipes.
