Spied: 2013 Porsche 911 Turbo Convertible Winter Testing

Our trusty teamspeed spies have caught a rather unwilling to be photographed test-driver out and about in the new 911 Turbo convertible during its on-going winter testing campaign wearing very minimal camouflage, just as the coupe we showed you last week. We expect the new Turbo coupe to be revealed during the summer of 2012, and the convertible variant to follow shortly after.

As we have previously reported we still do not have any exact details as to what's under the rear bonnet but considering the current Turbo S puts out a whopping 530hp we are fairly confident in stating that the 991 variant of the Turbo will produce anywhere from 550-600hp right out of the box.

Expect the new 911 carrera interior to carry over in full with options such as full leather interior as standard equipment and a few extra special touches unique to the Turbo. The new re-enforced convertible top from the 911 (991) Carrera will carry over to the turbo convertible as well.
