Pardon me for offering an opinion on your turf. What's the old expression? UP YOURS. I could afford a GT2RS - not a practical purchase, but I could do it. At a stretch, I could do a CGT...but I would hope that it's comfortable enough to sleep in, because I would have to once the wife found out. Cashing in some CD's to buy a CGT would create major marital discord.

Be careful who you put down...since you don't really know who you're dealing with. You have complete annonymity, so your insults are safely made. If what you thought mattered, I might be upset.

This used to be a fun forum, but Stoppie, you're changing my mind. So please continue being a rectum - Lord knows you're good at it.

It still is a very fun forum and will continue to remain fun with or with out you, or me.

Further more the point being if you can own a Carrera GT, you can have a GT3 or 2008 GT2 that will give you a very similar experience to the RS. RS is a smashing success and amazing car; but the CGT is a Halo car. One of those cars that you should own, at least once in your life. No other Porsche will give you the exact experience or even close to that of the Carrera GT.

GT2RS however? GT3 or something similar will give you a taste of what that car is all about. Many people respect Porsche, on certain levels- more so than Ferrari- as they view Porsche as the (this is the general public's view, not just a few people) 'poor mans Ferrari'. Sort of like a 'super car for the average guy'. We all know better, but thats the sentimate from the general Pop. Thus your Carrera GT will be safe and sound if you so choose to go out and buy some bread in it.

THAT's the point of my thread. If that got your tighty whities in a bunch, it wasn't intended to.

from an outsider point of view...as I always am....plus Stoppie and eye rarely see eye to eye

I don't think he was saying you were broke. I actually read his post as pretend you had $300k burning a hole in your pocket. Which would you buy?

That's all
