I've never owned a porsche, but I'm guessing money and practicality would be major factors in the decision making process. I wouldn't mind a Cayman S as a DD.

I love the thing and it is reasonable to own and handles like a roller coaster!!

When it comes to the sedans -- which I know was not the OP point but -- the panamera turbo is not cheap for its class but it has the best performance and is a unique look, not like a dozen models of 5+7 series and E + S classes. Also, an Arnage or Ghost don't even compare on the performance front.

Usability.

I drove my gt3 from the UK to Germany, used it as a daily drive for two months (work) than drove home. Never missed a beat.
