The wait has been over five months, the dreaming and fantasizing has been fun, not having a Porsche to drive all summer is not fun, but that is now behind me. My dealer called today and told me my new Guards Red Turbo S was just being off loaded from the transport.
It took me thirty minutes to drive over and take a few pictures while it was in the service area. It will take a day to sort out the dealer prep and I should have it by Friday if all goes well.
Thank you to the Team Speed members for providing input and suggestions on my selection of the Turbo S. In thirty years, this is my ninth Porsche, my first was the 1982 "Turbo Look", all turbo components except the engine. This is the second Turbo and to me it is really special.
