This white on black 2008 997 Twin Turbo cabriolet came in for our Stage II performance kit, including the EVOMSit software and a Tubi exhaust system (with TechArt tips). Also on the menu was a set of HRE P43 Monoblok wheels, the TechArt LED Day-time running lights and an MACarbon carbon console. Not a bad way to spend the day!

First things first, the EVOMSit software is calibrated for 91 octane and the performance exhaust:


Off comes the stock and rather restrictive exhaust system:


The lighter and freer flowing Tubi goes on in its place:


To round things off we installed the TechArt dual tips:


And on the inside an MACarbon rear main center console is installed:


Over to the front and the bumper is removed in order to install the TechArt controllers for the day-time running lights:


And installed:


With the bumper back on you can see the TechArt LED day-time running lights in action:


The 19 inch HRE Monoblok P43s in black:



Ready to go home!

 

HRE were just MENT to be on 997s imo...they fit seemlessly.

Aye but DOT and other countries are mandating it now so get used to 'em They come standard on the 09+ cars (except turbos) and then on the 2010+ Turbos
