This a a great day! After a five month wait my new "baby" has entered the world.

The dealer called and advised my 12' Turbo S finished production yesterday. It has been a long wait. When ordered, thanks to Cannga's inspiration, it is a coupe, Guards Red, Brown Natural Leather, it was to be built in July, that slipped to August then to September. The reason given, I special ordered the Brown Natural Leather interior. This was a color that was standard on my 09, then had to be special ordered on the 12'.

I now see it is not even offered on the new 991.

In any case, I now must wait for the car to be trucked to the port, wait for a ship, ship ocean, port processing, then trucked to Minnesota. I estimate it will be here just before the first snow.

I have the VIN and must try to find out what ship it will be loaded on.

First mod will be a new exhaust system then suspension Bilstein Damptronic.

 

Congrats! Is it a 6spd or PDK?

Yes it has PDK. There is no option on transmission.

I have seen some of you work (Photos) and would love to have you shoot the car. Your photo documentation of the Motorplex garage interior build was a terrific series.

Fvck it. Air ship it and you'll have next week. That's my plan… sometime in 2014 with the new 991 Turbo. I might go to Zuffenhausen and see it built and make a vacation out of it.
