Yes, that is correct, 700HP, and on 93 octane no-less! While it may not seem that impressive compared to our more powerful offerings such as the P800, R911, or our special order builds, with this package starting at $17990 you get incredible "bang" for your proverbial "buck." How much bang is that exactly? Enough to propel the 997TT into Veyron territory with a 2.5 0-60 and 0-100mph in 5.9 seconds!

I am trying to figure out how a 997tt which takes 3.5s to go 60 to 100 manages 0-60 in an incredible 2.4s.... my 700hp GT2 does 60-100 in about 3.1s after 1 X 0.4s gearchange but best 0-60 I've managed is 3.6s - Is it a tiptronic ?
Whist you are there can you also throw some light on the red 997tt which is labelled as a Switzer P800 in the Moscow mile vid doing the rounds where it races a bike ? the credits say 297.5kph at 26.5s...... can you tell what issues that car had ?

Not sure about those results, perhaps he lifted. That P800 has recorded the following:
Porsche 911 Turbo (997) Switzer P800 26.127s 313.04km/h
Our R911 Tiptronic has recorded the following:
Porsche 911 Turbo (997) Mk.1 Switzer R911 24.895s 334.71km/h
Results: MOSCOW UNLIM 500+
