Hi all,

I just bought a 07 911 turbo and the guy i bought it from referred me to this site. Wondering if you guys had any input on whats a nice looking carbon fiber front lip. i was looking at the GruppeM and SpeedArt. Any thoughts? Thanks!!

Just realize you are going to shred that lip over the course of time. As long as you are aware, enjoy. Most of us non carbon lippers buy two, and keep one spare (painted for me) to swap once/year.

That's why I never got them...they're a waste of money IMHO.

GruppeM makes a nice piece. I think Champion makes the best one for the 997. Underside gets a bit scraped, but hardly/not noticible unless you're under the car. They were smart enough to integrate metal skid plates underneath for protection.
Waste? Matter of opinion. Love mine.

I wouldn't waste the $$ IMHO. Like other have said, they are easily scuffed, scraped, and torn off...
