Many prefer the standard brakes, because they are much cheaper, easy to maintain, and work about as well. The main advantages of the PCCBs are less unsprung wait, minimal fade and brake dust, slightly better stopping power.
One magazine did a test of both brakes and found the standard brakes stopped better than the PCCBs unless they were heated up enough.
Plus, the red painted calipers look better, and don't cost $8k! Besides, you'll only see a very small fraction of that back on resale.
