yes, it's a lamborghini color - it is chameleon-like, its color/shade changing with the outside light. on a sunny day, it's silver and metallic; on a cloudy day, it's a flatter gray; and at sunrise, it has hints of gold and brown.

and, yes, it *was* that car. about the only thing that remains is the original paint, wheels, and seats - everything else has broke and been replaced (engine, suspension, and lots of failed stock parts.) it should be reliable now

craigger - no offense taken; that is the lineage but the car has never been in better hands

the new Hitachi MAF is very very fast. 91 octane mode is as fast as the old 100 mode. my problem now is that "race" mode needs something more than the 100 i can get at the pump. Sharky & I were working on this but my clutch went out. after i break in the clutch (400 miles to go, no end in sight thanks to non-stop rain), we'll resume trying to bugger Evo for a 100 race file.
