Best Motoring drivers have no skill
#12
Gan-san is definitely not one of the best drivers in the Best Motoring Crew. Orido, Taniguchi, and Tsuchiya are the three best. The rest are still decent.
OP, you do realize that all of the drivers (that I'm aware of) have JGTC experience. They are all pretty good drivers.

Gansan's drive in that old 911 at the Nordschleife was nothing but EPIC. and he also did that sub 8-min lap in the NSX-R, which was also no mean feat at the time.
and yes, i've watched a JGTC race live... actually ran into GanSan-- obviously retired already-- by accident in the paddock area (i was a guest of Nissan at the time) and managed to take a photo with him. I wanted to do the same with Tsuchiya, who was literally 5 ft away from me on the starting grid, but he looked in a foul mood as his driver (Ralph Firman) was on the verge of collapsing with heat stroke in the blazing heat at Sepang!
