Basalt Black Turbo Delivered today

Got her home too late to take pics, but what a ride!! Basalt Black TT with Natural Brown Full Leather Interior. The dealer also installed H&R Springs, dropped it an inch and added some custom wheels. The car looks killer lowered with the new wheels. My wife took it for her first drive of a TT when I got it home. When she floored it an overboost kicked in, she simply said, "HOLY S&%T, our Corvettes can't do that!" Good thing for me, because I took a lot of crap for trading in my Ruby 911 Cab and my Corvette Z06 to buy this car.

I'll post pictures ASAP. We're heading to NH for the Northeast PCA Spring Ramble so it may have to wait until next week.

Sounds really beautiful - can't wait to see the pics! Remember not to redline - keep it under 4200 rpms for first 2000 miles (recommend break in per your manual). After that (and I am only to 500 miles on my new one too), then the "fun" button!

Congrats and have fun! The car is addictive -- the modification addiction will be next. Here's my work in progress (as you can see, I too love Bassalt Black):

Tried to change my username in my profile. Do I have to email a moderator?

Thanks, but I don't believe in the 2000 mile break in. 500 miles is my max. on all my performance cars. After that it's driven as hard as I want. Never had a problem. My dealer said the same thing. Once you get over 500 miles, let her rip.

Yup I too was staggered when the boost kicks in. Addictive power.
