997.1 Turbo Project Done By Elite Motorsports

This is our one of our customers' 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo. The car came into our shop with a Tubi Exhaust & Champion Wheels with about 7,500 miles.

First step of action was the exhaust system on the car. Fabspeed Straight Pipes w/ 200 Cell Race Cats(Customer found the Tubi to be too quiet...we agree!), Fabspeed Headers/Manifolds were put on. After that the Fabspeed Carbon Fiber Intake was installed. The next step was to lower the car. With the 20" Champion wheels, the stance of the car was not perfect. We opted for the H&R Suspension setup in addition of H&R Adjustable Front & Rear Sway Bars. The final step was to up the power from the stock 480HP that the car came with from the factory. The car had way more potential than this. Our close relationship with European Performance Labs we requested the car to be tuned by Tony the mastermind behind EPL. The car left EPL putting down ~510 HP at the wheels. A mere approximate 100whp gain from the 415whp baseline pull. With a conservative 20-25% drivetrain loss, it puts our Project 997 at over 650HP at the crank (on 109)!

Once the car came back to our shop there were even more parts waiting to be installed onto the vehicle. We added on the AWE Intercoolers and replaced the stock clutch due to the amount of power we pure putting down which eventually caused the stock clutch to slip. The folks Clutch Masters hooked us up with a CM Stage 3 Clutch Built to Our Specs (8 Puck) and an Aluminum Lightweight Flywheel for this car. All buttoned up with an alignment and everything was ready to hit the road. This car is an absolute thrill on the street.

If you'd like any more information on this car or are interested in doing modifications to your Porsche please give us a call or send us an email at sales@elitemotorsport.net

Just love it! Great project.

Reminds me of what I did to mine.
