Post Need Help, what's this Turbo worth?

Hey Guys..

My friend has a 2008 997 TT in arctic silver/natural brown int.The car has all the stitching, and lots of leather. The window was 142xxx

He wants to trade it in to get a new car.The car has 13k on the clock. The car is in mint condition. What is it worth as a trade in?

Any help is appreciated,

Andrew

I've owned 4 TT's. An 07 an 08 and 2 2011's. The mileage hurts. The color combo is OK, but not high demand. It depends on what he's trading it in against and how much he's getting off of the new car. Some dealers play a net game. But in the end, I can't imagine an offer close $100k. Most likely low 90's.

^^ 13k mi is high for an 08? I would hope he can get closer to 100k for it, but on a trade you are probably right.

I think retail is $105kish, so a trade in the low $90;s is reasonable, but once again there are a lot of variables such as the car he is buying.

My 2008 was black/black, it had a $143 sticker, I paid $135k and traded it with 4000 miles in mid 2009 for $110k. It sat on the dealers lot for quite a while at $125k. A 2008 is now 3 years old and 13K miles is a lot from a trade perspective.

Again, what are the options/trans? Dealer will always ream you on a trade in.

I know if I had an 08, since new, it would have over 50k.
