RENNtech modified 997.2 DFI turbo featuring our proprietary ECU tuning software and an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system. This turbo was delivered to us with an aftermarket exhaust and ecu tune already installed, so the base line shown in the dyno graph during the video is with these components installed. After replacing the exhaust and installing our software the vehicle put down 500 WHP and 487 lb/ft torque.

What exhaust and tune did it come with?

In the interest of just focusing on the car in its current state with the power and sound from the RENNtech tune and Akrapovic exhaust, I dont think it is appropriate to mention what was previously installed on the vehicle. Needless to say, there was a pretty decent gain over the way the vehicle was delivered to us as the dyno showed and the car sounds and performs extremely well.

 

I love the turbo, but it seems impossible to make them sound good. Seems damn fast though.
