New Dymags Arrive

Weights of wheels:
I will weigh the factory wheels after the Dymags are installed.
Unfortunately things are on hold for a while. See the last picture. One of the wheels has a small defect in it. My options are to keep with a small monetary adjustment or send to factory to have reconditioned. I am proposing I use these wheels, have them send me a replacement wheel and then change it and send the bad one back. They don't seem to like that option. Am I out of line in my request? I don't want a refinished (although new) rim. Would almost rather keep the wheel with the blemish than take a chance on a refinished rim.
Front 16.80 pounds

Rear 20.58

It is the pinhole on the spoke. Probably something only I will notice. It's just that after spending pushing 5 figures, they should be perfect.

It is pretty minor, but I'd want em to be perfect too. If they're going to have a defect, it should be because of some dumb ass thing you did, not the way you get them. For those $$$, they should be flawless when they arrive to you. Of course, you're gonna freak if they get scratched/chipped etc. when you're putting the rubber on.
I can see why they want to refinish it instead of sending you a new one, they'd end up with ONE extra wheel until someone else wanted the same wheel/size/colour etc. I'm guessing pretty rare. And I'm totally with you on keeping the one you've got while you wait for a new one instead of a refinish, but really, if all of them were like that when they arrived at the dealer, and the dealer got them refinished before you first saw them, would you know they were refinished? I don't think I would.
So all that being said, I'd probably negotiate for a bigger credit and start rolling.
