they are mentioned every now and again.. alzilla has posted quite a few pics lately, check the dedicated picture threads? for mods, pretty much the same as a 6tt x50 or a 6tt + upgraded turbos (engine-wise).

and mostly in the GT sub-forum.

 

I'll be posting a ton of pics of a few 996 GT2s in the next couple of weeks.

 

The 996 GT2 is more of a race-car, more extreme compared to the 997 GT2. with the club-sport package it`s not a very good daily driver that's for sure. No anti-spin or traction control what so ever.

It is devastatingly fast with som minor mods to suspension and engine tune.
Here are some pics of my friends old Gt2:s. The only one that`s not been sold is the white one.

 

Love it in red. If i decide to sell my 997TT one day i have to get a GT2. They are the ultimate drivers
