EVT700 to EVT775 upgrade with a dose of TechArt & HRE @ SharkWerks
This was one of my favorite turbo projects of a few years ago inside and out. A couple of years on from her original EVT700 build this car came back to us for a hardware and software update with EVOMS' latest EVT775 upgrade, including the dual-mode ECU for 91/100 octane (the switch is hidden in the ashtray). Since then she's also added a set of TechArt GT Street Side Skirts and all-black 19 inch HRE 893R wheels.
Off comes the bumper..
From the other side you can see a few suspension goodies including the TechArt coil over kit and many solid links/bushings.
And the Tubi Race Exhaust system:
The parts start to come off..
Out comes the airbox and standard throttle body:
The factory plenum vs the larger Werks1 T-pipe kit:
Werks1 Kit installed in order to accept the larger 82mm throttle body kit:
The factory inlet ducts are indeed quite skinny/restrictive and to feed the upgraded VTG turbos we installed the EVOMS Turbo inlet duct kit (driver's side shown):
And installed:
And other side:
The smaller 997TT throttle body (left) vs the larger 997GT3 throttle body (right) ready to be installed:
The stock pulley is also removed:
And the EVOMS lightweight pulley kit installed in its place:
A box of take-offs including the stock coil packs, throttle body, plenum etc... These were all replaced with EVOMS' HED Coil Pack kit and upgraded spark plugs:
James installing everything back together:
Here we are with the ECU/DME open and installing the necessary EPROMS for two fully-functioning ECUs. The EVOMSit software is then burned to each EPROM.
A switch was run to the center console ashtray for 91 or 100 octane modes:
Ready to go for a test drive:
Ready for pick up...

It's built in exactly the same fashion that we've been doing since late last year when EVOMS live-tuned the kit on another of our customer's cars so with all the hardware staying the same etc...
Felt very good to me on 91
