Evolution Motorsports 997 TT Texas Mile Super Freak!!!
We just finished tuning our 997.1 4.0L before we head to Texas. Previously1215 AWHP and 915 AWTQ was our best for this engine. With some very careful tuning* calibrations we have now reached a new high of.............
1324 AWHP and 1060 AWTQ
* we installed an external knock box on the engine which allows to hear very slight engine knock. We are able to filter out any engine noise and listen with head phones any abnormal engine noises that would typically go unnoticed. We installed 2 additional knock sensors on the engine tuned it accordingly. We were able to fine tune the ignition, fuel and camshaft maps to increase the power and torque without touching the boost pressure. Over 100 HP and 120 TQ was increased just from the ability to fine tune this engine.
* we also installed an additional Motec wide band lambda sensor to monitor the air/fuel ratio. We already had 3 wide band sensors installed but you can never be too sure.

Thanks for the kind words. We arer very excited as well about the TX Mile. It is going to very interesting to say the least. I have a feeling that some very impressive numbers are going to be poping up left and right!!

That's difficult to answer. We obviously are making enough power to break some records but unfortunately the aerodynamics at the speeds we are thinking it will hit have not really been tested. This is still very much so a learning process for us so it's kind of trial and error and go from there!
