2011 997 Twin Turbo S with HRE Monoblok P40 Centerlocks @ SharkWerks

This brand new 2011 997TT S came into us for a few choice modifications. On the menu so far is a set of HRE's new light-weight P40 Centerlock Wheels in satin charcoal and the OEM 997GT2 side skirts painted to match.

In she comes already fully-covered in Premier's Satin Guard full wrap:

The HRE P40C's with tires/TPMS installed. You can see the extra machining done on the spokes to save weight:

Off with the stock wheels (which are actually 3-6pounds heavier than the HRE's going on):

You can only see 1/2 of the TQ wrench...

Good clearance in the front for PCCB's:

There we go, the new wheels fill the fender much better now. The original factory centerlocks are tucked in due to a very conservative offset hence we went for a more aggressive fitment.

Close-up of the satin charcoal finish:

Ready to go home!

A pair of older silver turbos as well...

Looks good with the Satin Wrap... Car just needs a minor drop. Good Work.

Needs a track setup suspension, some coil overs. I like how light weight the rims make the car look, the oem wheels makes it look very GT-ish cruiser.

Satin wrap looks great.

Not sure I like the wheels with the new machined spokes.. Changes the look a LOT.

^^ Yeah, I'm not sure why the spoke machining added more spokes. I love the twin-seven spoke design, and like this twin-nine spoke version, but it is not nearly as nice or unique of a wheel anymore IMO

I really like that look. The wheel color is spot-on...

no clear sidemarkers?

love the rear wheel stance... the satin finish on the wheels...

wonder if cost of the wheels to looks is in the end is worthwhile? beacuse the factory although tucked in, yes, they look fantastic...
