This was the response that he received from Hong Kong regarding his CEL:

"You can try disconnect the battery and reconnect it. If this doesn’t work, then you will need to add load resistors from V-LEDS.COM. They have a special resistor for turn signals error."

What I found interesting was the installation car is an 07 TT. 07 TTs built in 06 through fall 07 all require updated control modules when you want to do the OEM swap that others like Jason (Atomic80) did.

I wonder if the CEL would occur in an 08 car with updated modules.

We received our pair of sample and install on a 08 997TT. The blinker warning light on the dash is on after install. We're contacting with factory to fix this issue. Assume this is load resistor issue. Anyone familiar with this topic, please jump in and it will speed up the process!

Other than the warning light, everything work fine. The quality of the light are better than any aftermarket light I've seen. Fitment is spot on, gap are even around the light which same as OEM. It really update the look of 997.1 rear end. The only thing it can be improve is the chrome housing inside can be more refine.

We're planning to setup groupbuy once the warning light issue has been fixed. Hopefully it will be a easy fix with correct load resistor. Now here are some pics and videos after install.
