have there been any official tests of the 997TT S... 1/4 mile, 0-100, 0-60, ring time? i'm curious to see these and how they compare to a 997.2 pdk turbo (non S).

 

i guess that answers my question. there doesn't seem to be any performance data yet on the 997 tts other than 0-60 from porsche

Here are the numbers for the original 997 and 997.2:

997.1:
0-100 km/h 3.5 seconds
0-160 km/h 7.8 seconds
0-200 km/h 11.9 seconds
0-300 km/h 40.7 seconds
Quarter mile 11.4 seconds
997.2:
0-100 km/h 3.1 seconds
0-160 km/h 6.8 seconds
0-200 km/h 10.4 seconds
0-300 km/h 41.9 seconds
Quarter mile 10.8 seconds

The 997.2 Turbo S didn't really have a best 1/4 time in the first tests probably, therefore it has a slower than non-S time.

 

I saw that GTPorsche mag tested the 997tt S. 0-60 in 2.9, 0-100 in 6.6 (wow) and 1/4 mi in 11.0. That's about as fast as you can buy, second only to the veyron.

 

From my own tests.. Im going to say the 997TT.1 will never do 0-100 in 7.8 sec..
