Ice Blue

There is no way to understand the decision process from Porsche AG on color. Sometimes they make great ones, sometimes they produce crap. Until the car is in the flesh, it's nearly impossible to know.
We've had the code for Ice Blue for nearly a year. We have other codes and paint colors that have not yet been released too.
Often they will put the color together, only to decide months later how to use it - exclusive or for a particular model only, across the board as standard, or across the board as an up charge.
It's a beautiful mid-light-blue metallic, and will look good on most Porsches (maybe not Cayenne).

saw the Ice Blue @ Porsche Zentrum in Monterey this past weekend. the color is beautiful in person. i had a chance talking with factory rep. he said the color is on hold & no longer in production plan until they figure out how the properly match the body with the bumpers etc. seems like a color matching issue. that's a shame it's not available as of now... very pretty in person.
according to the rep this is the only car painted in Ice Blue in US.

In Australia my dealer was told by the head of PCA that there would be no more delays to the IBM paint. Fingers crossed. He was also told that a decision was recently made in Oz that IBM was going to be an exclusive colour for the TTS. Time will again tell as the configurator still shows IBM available on other P cars.

The bumpers not quite matching the body isn't a just a problem to Ice Blue - my Meteor C2 was the same and a Lambo before that. It's normal and you'll see it on most brands.

probably it's just more obvious to them that don't want to deal with the hassle. typical Porsche.

It probably needs the sunshine - it looks better in the 2 pics above my post.
