MAcarboned out Turbo Cab
‘AboxsterS’ brought his new 2004 996 Turbo Cab by our shop a short while back to get a few carbon parts installed. His interior was in excellent condition as seen by the before pics, but just needed a little something more. He already had a number of arctic silver pieces including the door pieces and the center console. Alain decided to leave those in place to match the silver exterior but to change out the rest of the drab black plastic.
We think the carbon really makes the interior pop!
Here is a list of the items replaced with MAcarbon parts:
• Door sills
• Mirror triangles
• Exterior mirrors
• Ignition surround
• Hazard surround
• Instrument surround
• A/C horseshoe
• Side air vent set
• Upper storage bin (to replace that useless cd holder)
• AC surround
• Batwing
• Cabriolet map light
Alain is due back next week to have the inside sills installed. We are also working on the other two cabriolet latch points found on the windshield frame. They will really set off the map light.
We want to say thanks to Alain ‘AboxsterS’ for being patient as we did the install. It was a pleasure doing the work for him.
From what Alain says, next up is a visit to Sharkwerks for some engine tuning. Keep an eye out for this Turbo if you are in the Bay Area!
