I agree -
One thing I dislike about these fora and others on the net is that you find a lot of guys with opinions, who have never owned a P car, let alone are even able to drive.
Do you really care about what a 12 year old thinks of your post mid-life crisis car?
I'm 35 and have owned two porsches and I personally wish I had the balls to order a car with the spec you put forth. I am too wishy washy to go all out like that.
Congrats - enjoy it well. You did the right thing....I hope at 65 I'm still able to get in and out of a Porsche! As it stands, i'm getting too old and have too much responsbility to drive such a impractical car :-).
Enjoy her and do take more pics! She is a beauty!

One of the most unique... I'm not really a fan of the yellow console, or seat backs. Change them to black, change the color to Basalt Black, add the silver lip to the wheels, and there you have my dream TTS.
It might have some competition though... Don Rosen Imports (local p-car dealer) just placed an order for 7 911 Turbo S's... Ya. I know.

Mongoman - the car is sick. You definitely made that car yours and you'll always look back at it every time you park it. Congrats again and enjoy the hell out of it!

Thanks for the feedback. Actually, I don't care if the comments are positive or negative--I'm happy with my choices and that's all that counts. Like I said, SY was a big change for me and I actually think Black is the most beautiful color for a car (I'm restoring a 1966 Jaguar XKE roadster and an XK150 Roadster as part of my retirement projects and at least one of them (probably the XKE) will be black with red interior. I just wanted something different for this car and since I chose SY I thought I should go radical with it.
