2010 997TT PDK Cabriolet Project @ SharkWerks

This is the first 2010 997TT Cabriolet that we've played with. Black on black with a lotta options too. Once again in PDK form she's bloody quick out of the box. For phase 1 we're kicking things off with the EVOMSit tuning and also replacing the factory plastic diverter valves with the tried and tested EVO diverter valve kit (from the 996TT days). Porsche went away from the boost recirculation valve set up found on the 997.1TT in favor of the previous 996TT set up.

First things first here's the Seimens ECU getting set up on the bench...

If you're doing PDK... you HAVE to get this steering wheel plain and simple:

The diverter valve location... Again a great idea for managing higher boost over time. One on each side up top (and nothing like the 996TT days).

And over to the other side:

And away she goes for a test...

Not yet my favorite sound in stock form so that's the next thing we'll be addressing but for now she's a hell of a lot peppier with the EVOMSit tuned for 91 octane (not to mention the throttle response). Once again with Todd@EVOMS having so much time tuning his own car the R&D is already so apparent. Even this early in the life-cycle of these cars the tuning is bang on as far as drivability goes. Kudos to the EVOMSit.com team....
