2010 Turbo - worth buying now ??

Being that it is now the end of May is it wise to consider buying a 2010 Turbo or better to wait for a 2011 ?

What sort of discount should I expect ?

Thanks

You're better off buying a 2009, IMO. The new "corporate" engine isn't anywhere near the GT1-derived engine.

Agreed if heavy modding is in the cards. If not, the 2010 Turbo PDK will destroy a 2009 Turbo stock for stock. 2010 PDK is a 127-128mph trap car bone stock.

Also I do not think a 2011 Turbo is even going to be available unless its a TurboS.

hilalpro is an unknown quantity at this point
the (991 or maybe 998) Carrera S will likely leak somewhere near the 2011 Geneva auto show it should have about 400 hp it certainly will not keep up with the 997 turbo pdk in strait line but in track/handling performance the 997.2 turbo still needs improvement as many test shows, (excluding caranddriver comparison.)

all im saying is if you're only interested in stock strait line performance go for it, if not then you might wanna wait for a cheaper maybe better package for the price 2011 Carrera S (4S if you really need AWD).

Both sides of the argument are valid. And yes the Turbo S will be the only 2011 car and then no Turbo until MY 2013. I doubt you will have an easy time finding a MY2010 coupe at least new cabs yes.
