Both cars being white and 2008's

About $250 month difference in the note for the TT

C4S with aerokit, 6 speed. 5k miles. Stickered at $102k
997TT, tip, 39k miles. Stickered at $150k

Which would you prefer

C4S. Back when I had my 996 C4S, I test-drove a 996TT Tip, and although it was undeniably faster, it didn't feel it, and I was surprisingly relieved to get back into the lesser-powered normally aspirated car.

The sound played a role as well (my C4S had the sport exhaust), but mostly, driving the 6spd is so much more involving.

If it were a PDK car, I'd go for that, though. I have an M5 with SMG and a Cayenne Turbo (with tiptronic, obviously), and though I drive them both in manual mode all the time, any tip is just sloppy and boring.

The TT. Two very different cars. The turbo is far superior.

Yeah, but it's got Chicktronic. Vote for C4S

C4S and sell the Aerokit for stock look. Been there and done that as far as tip turbos are concerned. Far too boring a drive for me so 6 speed it is.

Good luck with your decision.

An automatic 911 is sacrilege and the idea should be uninvented. It's sort of like listening to your favorite music with ear plugs in.

C4S all the way. Tippy just doesnt do the car justice. Only way I would consider it is if I lived and worked in a congested city.

Manual for me... If it were a PDK i might consider otherwise, but i like shifting.
