I just noticed his RPM going up to 9000rpm, holly sh!t. Let me just say by watching the inside CAM that this car is rock solid eventhough a side wind hit the car. Amazing run Jonah and congrats to you and UGR. You guys keep raising the bar every time

Damn, crazy!!!

Any of these teams need a photographer for company coverage?

I would love to make it out to the Texas Mile one day.

It's funny the first TX Mile event I attended was about 4 years ago I think and it was nothing like it is now. I can't believe how big this event has grown, when it first started it was just locals doing the run with cars well under $50k. Now we are seeing cars worth over $500k attending. I even remember when there was no cell phone reception at that airport strip, now I get several bars of service. That event alone is helping the tiny town of Goliad get by!

That was a couple of weeks ago in Miami. Different conditions, different track, elevation etc. And a different Ford GT, one from Performance Power. But still an awesome number!!!

Yes Ford GT TT by Performance Power Racing in Miami Mile went 253mph world record. This car has 1600+whp and Stage III Nitrous set up. Due to traction issues they were only able to push One shot (Stage I) only. Here is the video clip, the car still spinning tires at 190+mph is nutts. On the speedo you can see 255mph. This particular car will do 260+mph and beat its own record one day. This is racing "No limits and records will be broken all the time" The Lambo's rocked Texas Mile this time out, way to go UGR. I must also commend Eddie Bello to take the Porsche 964tt to another level at 235mph and he did replicate that number at Florida Mile at 236mph.

BTW, a Bugatti runs 204mph in a standing Mile. Just imagine hitting Bugatti's top speed which is achieved in 3 miles but doing it in one mile. This is unfreakin believable, not to mention the jets usually take off at 200 mph off the runway
