VIVID Racing ECU tune

They are offering an ECU tune for the 09TT for $1895 on ebay. I was wondering if anyone has used Vivid for ECU tuning. I recently spoke with the folks at Sharkwerks and their ECU tune sounded very cool although you have to send them the ECU out of your car. If anyone has any opinions as to who does reliable tuning without affecting the warranty please post a few options.
Thanks much.

Lots of vendors offer reliable tunes, they all affect the warranty. Do your research and figure out which tuner works best for you.

Thanks you guys and we have a 45-day money back deal too if you want to try it

It's very easy to remove the ECU and we have a guide:

Dunno who this Shakry character is tho!

Well, I was trying to be politically correct but I might as well throw it out there: I love my SharkWerks/EVOMSit tuned 997TT - simply awesome.

Champion Motorsport offers the GIAC ecu tuning upgrades. We have a full line of propriatery calibrations developed by GIAC with and around our hardware.

There are local dealers almost everywhere in the USA, and the flash can be uploaded through your OBDII port. Also if you choose to do further hardware upgrades down the line you only pay an upgrade fee for the revision to the software tune. SOme of the upgrades are even free of charge, IE: the intercooler upgrade flash (if you already had our upgrade stage 1 turbo flash)

thanks everyone for their replies. i have done some extensive research via the usual forums and the big 3 (vivid, sharkwerks and GIAC) seem to be the ones most people use. I will do some more work and figure this out. I was driving today and thought how much faster and more responsive the car would be with the tune. From the sounds of it it is a must have!!!
