^^^both of these guys are smarter than they look

Open question - what deviated stitching would go with cocoa interior? My unlce has it, but not deviated on his "S" Cab....

I might do a malachite/cocoa car and I'll do malachite stitching... should look AWESOME.

The other combo I love is Atlas/Blue with white stitching.

I'd fear for my life about how easy it would be to stain/discolour the white stitching....

I hear you. But, the reason why I'm in this mild predicament in the first place is that my preferred color is not available. Plus, paint to sample is also not available for the Spring TT-S builds...thus I am thinking of choosing from the standard TT-S palette.

If I was going to "paint to sample" I would go with azurro california a la the PCA anniversary 911 club coupes.

Azzurro California is GORGEOUS in person. Also, Azzurro Santa Barbara - I saw the RUF car painted that color in CA. Either is better than plain ol' silver.

Why compromise just to get your car earlier?

Wait, and build your ideal spec.

EXACTLY - I will never buy another new car that isn't to my spec.

Chris, you have to consider what Al is forced to drive until October is he doesn't get a Spring build... I don't blame him for not wanting to suffer like that!

^^^Such disdain for silver!

Seriously though, I don't feel as if I'm compromising. I really wanted a lighter color this time around and settled on ice blue metallic, although I kinda missed my old GT silver 997S, but didn't want to pay $3k for paint...again...

So, now, in a paroxysm of rationalization , am very happy about getting GT silver.

So...the order is in and not getting changed, at least for the next 12 hours...

The problem is that the S has all the performance options: PTV, PCCB, SCP, etc standard so that all the obsessing occurs with the cosmetic stuff. That said, it's pretty fun to mess with the cosmetic stuff.

So...flame away...I ordered GT silver with natural brown and silver deviated stitching and some carbon pieces.
