Post Technology and art - TECHART world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show

PRESS RELEASE:
Since 1974, this car will thrill the hearts of true sports fans more: the Porsche 911 Turbo - a work of fine materials and high precision engineering. A near-perfect sports car. Almost, because individuality and personality are key components in the quest for perfection. TECHART automotive design stands for the creation of individual masterpieces for sports car lovers who want to give your car a piece of his own personality. The result is the TECHART individualization program for the new 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S models, consisting of new aerodynamic package, alloy wheels and an exquisite interior, which in early March at the 80th International Motor Show in Geneva will present the world premiere of the professional audience.

Uncompromising embodiment of the performance principle
The new aerodynamic kit I emphasized the inner strengths of the turbos, but playful and overburdened with no effect. This completely made of durable polyurethane RIM existing exterior package reduces the lift values at both axles - the handling in the border area is more balanced. Prominent part is seamlessly integrated front spoiler with air inlets dynamically stressed. Leaving aside the looks of the car flanks move that falls strömungsoptimierende side eye, which extends the sidelines and makes the car appear longer. When Coupé also ensures a discreet roof spoiler for a visual extension of the roofline. Generates additional downforce spoiler profile for the retractable rear wing. Also completed in the modified rear section of the diffuser, the standard skirt extends downward. Individualized mirror covers provide another sporty accent and complement the appearance typical of TECHART.

The same also applies to the TECHART Aerodynamic Kit II Independent front and rear aprons optimize the management of air masses for an improved flow of brakes and the intercooler. In conjunction with the Front II is also the multifunctional TECHART daytime running light available. It combines daytime running lights, position lights, parking lights, parking lights and turn signals as an LED system unit in a common housing and fits seamlessly into the design of the vehicle front. The brightness of the daytime running light is automatically adapted to the chosen Fahrlichtschaltung. For better signal dims the daytime running lights also blink during the process.

The merit principle and the distinctive design TECHART Wheels program in the same show. To bring the powerful torque of up to 700 Nm safely on the tarmac to get the TECHART Formula light-alloy wheels in a modern 5-spoke design is used. It is possible here either TECHART Formula, Formula II or Formula III forged filigree forged wheels up to a dimension of 20-inch sizes. The classic shape ensures efficient heat dissipation and gives a clear view of the brake system. For optimal traction TECHART recommends ContiSportContact 3 tires with the brand or tire Michelin Pilot Sport PS2.

In addition, is also available for the new 911 Turbo TECHART Noselift the system. Problems with everyday obstacles are therefore also in this vehicle the past. By pressing a button on the front spoiler are about 60 mm more ground clearance by raising the vehicle up on the front axle available. The hydraulic system convinces by Noselift TECHART TECHART typical everyday practicality, reliability and easy to retrofit.

TECHART elegant appearance in the interior
Distinctive is also convey the TECHART interior for the new models: a clear, yet elegant, sporty but comfortable cockpit, seats, doors and headliner is a unique feeling of spaciousness. The sports car is stylishly enhanced with quality that you can smell and feel. Thus, the interior can be completely lined with the finest leather on request. In addition, the TECHART 3-spoke sport steering wheel, aluminum sports pedals, dials into individual color or stainless steel scuff plates with TECHART logo for installation are available. Whether outside or inside, TECHART understands the game confidently on the keyboard of emotions - and sense.

See for yourself by the TECHART individualization program for the Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S on the Geneva Motor Show of 4. to 14 March 2010 on TECHART Booth (2250)in Hall 2.

I need this car with Champion RG-5s. DJ the rear-shot is pure bliss! 997.2 Turbo exhaust tips look much nicer.

So exactly the same kit as the Gen 1 car then...

A white PDK Turbo S with a TA type 1 bodykit, my wheels and suspension kit - hmmmm...

Although that would be one pricey upgrade, especially to end up with less power and a less symphonic exhaust. Nah, I'll stick thanks and wait to see what the 991 Turbo looks like...

Front end looks good.

Back end looks good.

Side skirts look wide enough to serve sushi!

Not bad.

kind of agree with you Eric. I just ordered the front spoiler and rear wing. I passed on the side skirts (for now; need to see one in person). The GT2 side skirts may be a nice compromise.
