1000km equals approximating 1600 miles. I thought break in period was til 2000miles?

As far as I can remember.... break in periods have always been ONE THOUSAND KILOMETERS for all our cars straight out of the dealer!

In some cases, you need to have the first oil service performed at 1000km before you can drive aggressively. In other cases, no need for oil service.

You don't need to break in any of the new motors, but you still have to Break in the PDK for 3000km.

its it 2000 km but 1000 km idle speed then medium drive till 2000km then you can start driving it crazy.
