997.2 turbo was launched in South Africa last night
Went to the launch and had a quick look at the new turbo. I really like the subtle updates.

The engine is apparently a whole new one from the ground up and does not share any parts with the 997 turbo's engine.

Too bad the price tag now is $270,000 US new here without options

Yea I literally can't wait untill I get my hands on one of these for a weekend this summer. I wonder what it feels like to do 0-100 km/h in 3,3 seconds.

I found it quite mundane myself when I did my day with 10 x 997.2 Turbos at Silverstone.
